Was this the Elder Wand you saught:
http://www.helsinki.fi/~pjojala/Dinoglyfs.htm ?

Dinotopia is not a fiction. They are carved, hewn and painted
all over the continents.

Beowulf is the oldest book written in the archaic English that
still survives. Guess what? Its main figure is yet another
dragon slayer. (Neil Gaiman was chosen as the copywriter to a
Hollywood movie based on Beowulf. Before that, next autumn a
movie based on Gaiman's Stardust will appear, starring Robert
deNiro et al.)

Dinoglyfs they are. Ever read the book of Job? That's
Leviathan & Behemot, folks. The longest description of any
animals in the whole Grammata.

A.D.Even this year.

Gilgamesh and his buddy Ekidnu also set out to kill a monster.
But if you consider all the characteristics of Ekidnu, you
realize that the side kick was a Neanderthal.

Perhaps a dyslexic Neandertal, ie: Enkidu! I never thought of
that! hmm.

Ya, well there is that as well; the error rate includes
wrong turns into the wrong ecosystem, and then the need to
adapt to it.
