This is what I am dealing with. I was on levothyroxine for 7 years, even though I had no symptoms (I have never had any, instead, I strongly believe the "symptoms" that I had were purely environmental and coincedental, as they disappeared as I changed diet, etc.). I had odd things happen to me while I was on the medication...clear menopause symptoms, irregular periods, infertility (no known cause), as well as some other strange things that just didn't add up, including extreme sickness with the beginning of 2 pregnancies, including miscarriage in the first of the two. My first, before I took the drug, was pretty much nausea free, and this one was much better than the other two (without the drug). When I went off the meds for now 6-7 months, I had no side effects, but instead shortly after learned that I was expecting. Now my doctor, because of these blood tests alone wants to put me back on the drug (she is willing to use Armour for me, I think). I said no way to the synthetic stuff, not again, since it did nothing for me, but made diturbing symptoms of its own. I still don't have hypothyroid symptoms, just these "blood test" readings. What is going on? Anyone ever hear of this or experience this before? I will see the doctor tomorrow morning. :help:
