Hi...got a question for you Canada folks who can buy Twin w/cyclamates at the store. Can you tell me how it tastes compared to Splenda? I was thinking of ordering some on-line, but I didn't want to waste money if the taste is the same as Splenda. Also, is the brown sugar Twin good?

Thanks for your thoughts on this! :)

The combination of the two creates a better flavour, one that is more like real sugar.

I use a combination in baking and use much less of both. If a recipe formerly called for a cup of sugar, using 2 Tbsp. each of Splenda and Sugar Twin is sufficient for sweetening. And, less carbs than using just one or the other. Splenda has 26 grams per cup and Sugar Twin is half of that. If you're ordering Sugar Twin granules, get some of the liquid as well. It has 0 carbs.

I think both taste pretty bad on their own in baking. It's OK in a cup of coffee, but in desserts, .
