Hello guys,

I'm new here and to low carbing.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any hidden carbs in the rotisserie chicken pieces that they sell at ASDA, Tesco etc on their hot chicken counter.

I don't eat the skin as i don't like it so most of the flavouring is removed.

Thanks for any help

Some would say ask the people behind the counter for what ingredients they use. A lot of people use the rotisserie chicken for meals, casseroles, salads, etc., and do fine. They're so convenient! I buy one occasionally. After you eat it you can use the carcass for chicken stock.

Hey Fro. It depends on the seasonings used. I'd ask the store. At the stores here in my area (FL) they put the nutritional info on the packaging - even the hot ones.

I will say I found some bbq rotisseries used the sauce (bad bad bad - HC) while others used a dry rub (much much better - LC). Maybe the package will tell you the ingredients used.

They won't know.
If they are anything like the staff in the supermarkets I use, they will just stand there with a slack-jawed 'DUH??' expression on their face.

Though as most food comes in packaging they ought to be able to look at the wrapper if they feel inclined to be helpful.
