Can I make a coule of suggestions?
I would up my fish oil ot at least 5 grams a day.
I would not drink slimfast..it is not a good meal replacement..Yes it is convenient, but there are better options out there like making your own meal replacement.
And I would most definetely buy a better multi for myself than Equate or any other grocery ,drug store vitamin.
go to a health food store and have someone knowledgeable help you pick out a good multi. You do not have to spend a lot of money on this.
Good luck

I echo the comments of Gostrydr
I don't like the meal replacement stuff - it never worked well with me - you might get others opinions also.
exercise program is great!
regarding supplements - not sure how much you want to spend - but I don't like those one a day vitamins
I like to see a high quality multi-vitamin designed for women (if you are woman) or designed for men (if you are a man). By high quality - I mean - you will be taking eight (or more) capsules per day just for the multi-vitamin.
I am not big on fiber - but if that works for you - then go for it. Most people that respond well to this diet need magnesium (they think they need fiber). You will also need potassium that I suggest you go the grocery store and buy salt substitute - whos main ingredient should be potassium.
I take 4 grams of omega 3s everyday, I am 250 pounds, and have been taking it for years. So you might want to start taking a higher amount and then cut back over time.
regarding the calcium and vitamin d - vitamin d is always good - but it should be D3 form. I am not a big fan of calcium (I am calcium intolerant) so I increase all the fat soluble vitamins (A, E, D, K) that help make calcium work better. Then I don't need as much calcium - to get what little bit I do get - to do more.
You can work with a local vitamin shop near you or go to like http://www.vitacost.com and look at their synergy line. They have multi-vitamins ranging from $15 per month (NSI Synergy Basic Multi-Vitamin Version 2) to $280 per month. I usually recommend at least the men's and women's versions at $40 per month - but if you don't want to spend that much - I understand.
I hate to sound like a salesman for vitacost (I do not receive anything if you buy from them) - it is just that I have dealt with them for years and therefore thoroughly know a lot of their product lines. I was hoping to have several people on this forum - like me - that used a particular product line and would make specific recommendations for people.
I belive that http://www.lef.org also has a range of multi-vtiamins that you can choose from.
if you want more one-on-one help - a local vitamin store can work with you.
