How can I search the journal entries and get a reasonable result? For example, I want to know if there are any senior women (60+) who are having trouble losing weight. So I entered a search for "older woman" and I get a bunch of discussions on soups by girls in college. I tried "senior" and got a discussion of home towns in Canada. What is the good of seeing other's journals if you have to take just the current offferings on the top page? There is probably an obvious solution but I haven't found it yet. Help! :help:

Try visiting the TOFF'S (over 50) section. Scroll down from the newbie's section and it's in the Low Carb Support Focus Groups. :agree:

Search doesn't look for a concept, it simply looks for the word(s) you searched for to appear in a post. So unless an older woman used the term "older woman" in some of her journal entries, it's not going to show up.
My suggestion would be to look for buddies with similar challenges in some of the threads in the Countdowns, Buddies and Challenges (http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=106) folder, or in the TOFFS(over 50) (http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=141) folder, or the Turtle Club (http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=90) folder.

Thanks so much for your answers, Didy and MizKitty  - I will try both areas.
