Today marks my one year anniversary of starting Atkins. I had hoped to be farther along in my progress but I have no complaints and no regrets and I'm really enjoying this way of life.

Here's to another year. :D

Congratulations! Good for you. This is a spectaculaar achievement. Don't take it lightly. I would say close to 90 lbs in a year is awesome. Also, as I have read on this board and elsewhere - the longer it takes you to hit goal the better your chances for not gaining back weight. Keep going.

Congrats! Not dropping out is the BEST thing you can do for yourself. You've come a long way already, and you'll get where you want to be. It's awesome that you've stuck with it. Don't stop now. :)

The next time you get discouraged thinking about the fact that you'd like to be further along, think about where you would have been were it not for what you've done. That should be motivation enough.

:) CONGRATULATIONS. 90 lbs down is a huge accomplishment. I am always wishing I was further along as well. Oh why do we do this to ourselves? I work every day to try and be happy about what I have lost because had I not come here, I would have gained weight!

Staying on Plan and keeping LC focus is the biggest obstacle to overcome and you have done it for over a year now. That is success!

I'm doing fantastically, thanks for asking. I made it through the 4th of July with no cheating (though I bet my mom put some sugar in my coleslaw just to spite me :lol: ) unless you count a little bit of cool whip on my sf jello cheating. Down another pound today! :D

I would like to ask you something, what kinds of difference have you noticed in how you FEEL compared to before you started. Healthwise? Just in general, physically?

I feel amazing! :D I have since week two or so. I have so much energy and sleep so much better and no more heartburn and I can run and play with my kids. It's awesome.
