Nordstrom's Ginger Sesame Dressing
http://www.razzledazzlerecipes.com/eatingout/eating_n/ginger-sesame-dressing.htm

Substitute 24 packets of Splenda for the 1 cup of sugar this recipe calls for, and wa-la, LC!!! I also food processed fresh ginger instead of using 'ground' (presumably dry) ginger.

It's sweet, tangy, & very yummy just as a salad dressing or used as a marinade. (I've tried it with chicken & it was delish.)

It tastes best if it's been refridgerated combined at least a day or so.

1 1/2 cups rice wine vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons ground ginger
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon coarsely ground pepper
1 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

In mixing bowl combine vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, ground mustard, and pepper. Whip until sugar dissolves. Add canola and sesame oil and whip to combine. Add toasted sesame seeds and blend together.

Makes 1 quart.

LCJen: I thought Rice Vinegar had carbs plus sugar. Which brand do you use?

Just look closely at the lable, most brands sell two different types; seasoned or unseasoned. The plain type is fine for low carb.
