I've broken a 7+ week stall! I'm down 5 lbs in the past 6 days. I'm sure it will slow down again soon, but it's so nice to see that scale number drop again.
I've been doing M&E since last Thursday, but plan to return to Atkins OWL tomorrow. I've also kicked my exercise up a notch since school let out (I'm a teacher) and am walking 2 miles in the mornings as well as my normal low-impact aerobics in the evening.
I thought this morning as I was walking that being excited about the scale reading 235 is about like being excited to see the gasoline price drop to $3.09. I think only members of the TDC can possibly understand why I feel like singing at the top of my lungs. This also brings me back to only 15 lbs away from my low the first time I did LC, so I'm seeing the light at the end of the "losing what I regained" tunnel.

Pam, you have shown such great preserverance through the last 7 weeks. I'm so glad that the M&E helped you break the stall. Congrats on all the exercise you've been doing. It won't be long until you get there!

Wow--that is so exciting to be that close to the breakthrough point--a new low makes it seem `really-really-real' . . .
This is a great example of perseverance and courage. WTG,GF!

Good for you Pam. I'm impressed with your ability to stick to it for 7 weeks in the face of an uncooperative scale. I bet you feel great!

Congratulations! :cheer: I know how great it feels when the scale starts moving again (and in the right direction, too!) I love M&E :)
WTG!
It's great that you've been able to start losing. Remember this the next time you stall (and you *will* stall again...) - it eventually ends. Working to control the things you can control - what you eat, whether or not and how much you exercise - is all that you can do. The scale takes care of itself, at its own pace. So long as you keep your plan clean, you're doing great. :)

Congrats on breaking your stall. Now send the whoosh fairy over here for a couple of days...
I've given her strict instructions that she's to come directly to your house when she leaves here--but you know that whoosh fairy--she has selective hearing.

I've given her strict instructions that she's to come directly to your house when she leaves here--but you know that whoosh fairy--she has selective hearing. .LOL....and she's blind as a bat, too. I put a picture of her doing her whooshy thing to me in my siggy. At first I thought she was ignoring me but now I think that *&^ is blind!
