Be forwarned, this is not induction friendly at all. And for people who have cravings that are triggered by any amount of real sugar, this probably won't be for you.
But I bought the best chocolate bar today.
It is Lindt, 85% cocoa dark chocolate. 4 squares has only 5 net carbs (4 are sugar), 8 carbs if you don't count by net carbs. I ate two squares (2.5 net carbs only) and was totally and completely satisfied. It is very, very strong and rich.
I don't like the aftertaste of splenda, etc. And sugar alcohols wreak havoc on my stomach. But sometimes, a girl just wants a piece of chocolate. This fits the bill.
Godiva had a 72% cocoa bar with almonds, but I went with the 85% cocoa. I also saw a 99% cocoa bar, but it cost $5.99 for one bar, so I went with the Lindt, which was only $2. All at World Market.
Anyway, it was a great treat for when you really want a bit of strong, dark chocolate without the nasty splenda aftertaste. I would not recommend making this a daily part of eating. But it was nice for a little treat.
