buy peanuts in their shells

the time it takes to crack them open

and finally eat, hopefully, two good peanuts

will save you from over eating

for every two peanuts you get

chew them to death until they become

peanut butter

then

start again with another peanut

make your own peanut butter

and

continue to

enjoy

peanuts

on

Atkins

Nope. But if you think about it, 2 weeks out of your life is not very long. ;)
And the reward will be a slim new you. Well worth the wait in my book.

A craving for peanuts or chocolate may indicate a magnesium deficiency -- maybe you should have some Milk of Magnesia instead? I had the same cravings a few days ago and magnesium helped.

I just had some dark Dagoba chocolate, but it was easy to only have a small serving with coffee.

thats it simple as that pnutbutter and celeryHave you looked around in the stores in your area to see if any of them carry peanut butter flavoring? It would be with the vanilla and other food extracts. If you find it, read the ingredients to be sure it wasn't made with a syrup base (corn syrup and agave syrup are both common.) Don't buy any that has any kind of syrup base.

If you find an acceptable peanut butter extract (alcohol based), just mix a drop or two in with a little cream cheese, stuff your celery and enjoy! :)

After the initial two week induction period, yes. Before that, you're really not supposed to.

I was curious enough after reading this thread to investigate for myself, since I never heard of "exotic" extract flavorings. I grew up thinking vanilla and almond were the only extracts out there.

Boy, was I wrong.

Watkins makes a peanut butter extract => http://www.watkinsonline.com

Their "nutritional information" is vague, but a review from low carb luxury reported all their extracts except for vanilla are sugarfree. The same article reports it has a "rich flavor of roasted peanuts".

Thanks for that fetch. I just ordered a catalog, as I never knew where to get the extracts either.
