I love dessert. Cake, pie, ice cream...you name it. Of course the days of unbridled gorging on Ben and Jerry's are gone forever. But I still like a cold treat like ice cream. So what to do?
This evening I bought some fat free plain yogurt (Phase I friendly). I sprinkled in a tbsp. of baking chocolate, 1 packet of splenda, 1 cap of vanilla extract and a scoop of golden flax seeds. I whipped the mixture and placed in the freezer for 30 minutes. It was great. The 30 minutes in the freezer firmed the concoction up and it tasted wonderful.
It pays to experiment.

How is fat free yogurt friendly on any phase of Atkins?

It isn't. However, longway2go has decided to do the SBD (which should be obvious since they are posting on the SBD forum and using SB lingo, ie: Phase 1 as opposed to Induction).
Longway2go, might I suggest changing the Atkins to SBD under plans so that others are not confused?

Oops. Sorry - anyway it sounded very good. We like making "ice cream" with no sugar, too.
