One place to start is to read one of the books so that you can begin to understand what this is all about. You can find the South Beach book at your local library.
In the meantime, you can review our Updated Food lists and Meal Plan guides that are located near the top of this forum.
Good Luck!!

HI Legs! I'm a Type 2 diabetic and follow the South Beach Plan. I have had much success with it. Do as Judy says and read a couple of books. Then decided which plan would be best suited for you and follow it! Good luck to you!
