I know I'm getting enough calcium and potassium, but i'm waking up the past few nights with charley horses in my legs. The only nutrient I'm NOT getting enough of is magnesium. I average about 50% of the RDA for magnesium. Could that be the cause of my muscle aches? Is there even such a thing as a magnesium supplement that I could take?

Magnesium could help, but are you taking your potassium in the morning & at night before you go to sleep? You already know it's inexpensive & what your body doesn't use it flushes out. Take 1 - 99mg tab at night & another in the morning. Are you getting enough water, or using a duiretic, metabolizer or a cutter? I find taking high doses of Chrom/pico I need to break up my mineral intake to morn & night. Hope this helps!

You might want to increase your potassium too. RDA is 3500 mg.
I increased mine and have had no problem since.
