Hi everyone well i am back low carbing again for the first time in 2 years and already in my first week i have lost 21lbs which i am chuffed about.
I will be sticking 2 under 20grms of carbs for as long as i can as i have over 200lbs to loose.
As i dont drink anything hot at all could anyone tell me is there any sugar free soft drinks i can have that wont give me any problems ie stalling or kicking me out of ketosis.
I know u can buy some online but they have citric acid in them and i was told when i was doing a vlcd diet that citric acid kicks u out of ketosis.
I am drinking at least 6 pints of cold water as well but i would like something sweet as well.
Thanks and take care x

Hi roch,
I have got the same problem. Used to drink caffein and cal. free Coke but think it was giving me cravings... At the end I didn't manage to stick with lowcarbing at all and went through big yoyo effect. Put on even more than I lost...
After about 3 months of sugary binge eating I'm back and starting loose again.
I drink only water and decaff coffee, sometimes with Hermesetas sweetener(unlike Splenda it has no carbs)
I'm try to avoid sweet taste all together as it is the only way how not to loose the path...
