When you log in go to your edit profile and at bottom will be change avatar hit that and you will see abunch of faces or icons you can use ... i have tryed to load my own picture in there but for some reason want take or work with that... dont know why.. so for now i use the icons that are already there..

hi there rtjdk2 and SLynnTx,

If you prefer to upload your own picture, rather than one of the icons in our database ... select the Custom avatar option. Your picture must be resized before you try to upload it though ... to 100 x 100 pixels OR 20 kb in size, whichever is largest. Also, the file format must be either a gif or jpg/jpeg.

If you're still having troubles, you can always post your picture as an attachment in a post here, and we can help you out with it :)

How do you resize the photo?

You need to have an image editor. Windows Paint is a simple program that's part of the Accessories that come with the system along with Notepad and Wordpad, etc. You'll be able to crop and resize quite easily, and then save the image as a jpg file.

Cropping will allow you to trim the pic to just head and shoulders if that's what you'd like. Then resize if necessary. The Help files in Paint are very good, and will coach you through.

Good luck :)

Doreen

p.s. - if you're really having troubles still, it's no problem to attach the photo here, and we can help out ;)
