Thanks Judy for your post on Phase II. I really needed it.
My question is on the lowfat string cheese. We talk about how fattening cheese is and it certainly is, but is this something I should worry about? It is such an easy snack for me. I have eliminated extra cheese in my salads, but I really want to keep this one.
Thoughts? Is this something to subtract if I hit a stall?

As long as you are still losing keep your string cheese as it is a good snack.
Its good that you elimate cheese in your salads if you use it to snack on. As I stated, I allow myself 2 ozs a day total. Even Atkins has a 4 oz limit per day on cheese....I think that we need to be very strict withourselves when it comes to cheese as it is surely a staller due to high sodium and calorie density.
IMO...2 string cheese per day is a good amount but no more than that.
