I dont normally break out like this. Could this be from the Armour? I am also under a great deal of stress and also switched to a new facial cleanser about a week ago, but I imagine if it was the new cleanser I would have broken out sooner. Any ideas?

I've been on Armour for three years and have had no troubles. But each person is so different.

It could be a temporary reaction. I went from really dry skin to oily in a matter of weeks, but it normalized afterwards.

Some people are allergic to Armour. I wan't, but I also wasn't feeling much better on it. I switched to using just T3 because I also don't convert T4 to T3 very well -- it was very hard to convince the doc that this was best, but I finally did :-)

Allergic reactions to a T3 based meds can indicate adrenal fatigue. Check out adrenal fatigue... It means that if you then balance your adrenals by treating them with the suggested vitamins and supplements, you will metabolize it properly.

As the others have suggested, it could be just a change in drug and you just need to give it a little time to optimize in your system. :)

This caught my eye.
I'm interning as an MA for 2 endocrine doctors.
We have a list of 'usually prescribed' medications from the doctors', Armour is the only one with a note behind it, "The doctors' do not like, and rarely prescribe Armour."
Like I said, I'm only interning..I have LOTS to learn, but I intend to ask the nurses that have been there awhile about that notation.

LOL - Doctors don't like Armour, but patients do!
:D
