It occurred to me that a thread focussing on the type of meals that those of us following BFL eat might be a good resource. I know that I saw something in Alex's journal yesterday that looked good enough to eat :) So here goes, two of my favourite meals (approx 300 cals, 25 - 30g protein, 10-15g carbs, 10-15g fat)
Steamed broccoli & Chicken salad - made with: 3 oz chicken breast, 1 tbsp mayo (real mayo), 15 grapes (sliced in half), 1 Tbsp sunflowerseeds, salt & pepper to taste .
1/2 apple and 1 tbsp peanut butter, 4 large strawberries sliced into 1/2 cup cottage cheese

hey! great idea for a thread!
Well... hmm... i'm fairly new. But i must say that my favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I have 'breakfast' for dinner sometimes too :)
Egg Blintzers
1/2 cup egg whites (I used Egg Beaters... best invention ever made :) ) cooked like a crepe. (kinda make it like an omlete)
Combine 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/4 - 1/2 cup fruit and spread it on the egg. Roll the egg over to cover and you have a wonderful treat :)
Pancakes (there are many variations, but i changed it a little to make it more LC)
Combine 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup egg whites (egg beaters) with 1/4 cup oats in blender. Blend for up to a minute until smooth. THen cook like pancakes :) Add a table spoon of sugar free fruit spread or sugar free syrup, and it's great.
