I'm not sure if this is the case in every Region, but today I tried to buy Splenda again at our major retailer. As the shelf was still empty I asked the Grocery Manager who told me that they are having trouble getting it. Apparently the supplier can't keep up with the demand. He also said they went through a similiar situation a couple years ago.

Yep, this happens at regular intervals... it's going through a surge of popularity again (just like pork rinds)... I wonder why THAT is? :D :rolleyes:

ps: I noticed in the last few months that the new stock is in the yellow box now, much more like the US packaging. So they've been messing with the production lines, too... AND the pretty darn new Splenda Canada website has been holding promotions and contests. There ya go.
