can I eat roasted gammon? I know that you have to be careful with bacon because of the added sugar but wondered if I can roast a gammon joint from Sainsburys etc???

I eat tons of bacon and all the time too I dont know what the gammon is so cant help you with that but when you eat bacon just make sure whats in it

Yes, you can eat gammon. (It is cured pork steak, droppin) - some people go on about sugar and nitrates in cured food but I eat loads of bacon and ham anyway. If you are worried about such things, a minute or so in boiling water gets rid of a lot of the salt and other things in bacon.

As Robert said, gammon should be fine. Just make sure it isnt a 'maple cured' or 'honey cured' one!
