Has anyone noticed sounds coming from their tummies?
I noticed over the last week.. my stomach makes strange noices that are quite loud!

Is this something others have experienced?

A friend of mine credits this to change of eating habits. The stomach was used to certain types of food and now that has changed - even if slightly. Maybe it rebellion. lol

This happened to me too. Wait it out - it will go away on it's own. Then things get REAL quiet - nice and peaceful in there. :D No more embarassment.

Even better, at some point, the tummy goes away altogether :-) Then people look at you funny and what happened to the tummy that used to stick out real far and scream out at passersby.

Yeah, mine did that for a while too, my DH use to joke about it because in bed it would wake him up growling and generally being very noisy! I think its because pre LC you have a very sluggish bowel and intestinal tract, LCing makes it work for a change!!

I think it may also be that the enzymes your body needs are different than
what it used to produce. What I am trying to say is taking a digestive enzyme might help to get rid of the noises. I have them occasionally, but when I take enzymes, it helps....just started SB with my DH, only been a few
days, but staying away from wine/alcohol is good for us, seems to be working. Both need to lose about 20-25lbs or so....bellies! :)

I agree with this idea!! :agree:

I know that it took my body a few months to adapt to eating this way and now looking back, I can recall having some digestive iissues as my body adapted...it does get better!!

Welcome pmezak!!

Good luck to you and your DH on SBD.....its a grreat food plan!!

You have no idea how glad I am not to be the only one.
At first, I thought I was a little crazy...
But on Sunday, my tummy was having a concert right in the middle of a very important conference call.

Hopefully, with time it will cease.

Thanks for responding!
