Comedy central was on a few (?) nights ago while I was doing some house work so I didn't get to see who was talking, but the person said something to the effect that going to McDonald's for a salad was like going to a crack house for vitamins. Anybody know who that was or if I really had it on Comedy Central?

that sounds familiar... but... I only watch Daily Show and Colbert Report... so if it was comedy central, it was one of those two shows.

If you are really dying to know, maybe look it up on the comedy central website?

It was the addiction angle that got to me...I wonder if he knows how close to home he really was?

Ok, by deduction approximately what time and date was it? Look up the programming schedule on the comedy central website!
Hope this helps!

Sounds like something Nick Di Paolo would say.

Yea, maybe Colbert? That would be the horse I'd bet on. :) I LUUUUUUUUUUUV Stephen Colbert!

It's true if you do look up McDonalds' salads online. The calorie counts and carb counts are equivalent of Big Macs!

Those salads that you are referring to have things on them that low carbers aren't supposed to have in the first place, such as the south west chilli beans. There are some salads there that we can have that are way below a big mac.

Big Mac - 45 carbs - 3 fiber = 42 net carbs
Bacon Ranch Salad w/ grilled chicken - 12 carbs - 3 fiber = 9 net carbs

Ranch Dressing - 9 carbs
Italian Dressing - 8 carbs
Ceasar Dressing - 4 carbs
Balsamic Vinigrette - 4 carbs

And thats with things you can pick out of your salad, like carrots, that you may not want to eat anyway.

Some people see "salad" and say "it's OK." That was my clarification. Not all salads are good, not all salads are bad. There's something for everyone and good decisions for each respective diet. LC and otherwise.
