Well, after much thinking and planning, I had a planned cheat meal yesterday. Nothing too outrageous. Along with a LC dinner, I had less than 1/3 cup rice, some beans, and a slice of Naan (indian bread...out at an indian restaurant). High-high fat day. Breakfast was skipped, lunch was tuna and mayo with lettuce, and then the dinner was 80% LC. Anyway, I expected a big spike on the scale this morning but instead I'm down a pound. We'll see how it goes now, since today I'm back on induction.
But it's a pound. I'll take it! I'd hate to go all April and not lose a pound. At least I have ONE so far!

Way to Go Greenwitch! http://bestsmileys.com/fireworks/1.gif
That's great news! Hey after M&E I think I'm gonna try that too. Also Indian food has a lot of tumeric, ginger and other herbs that are anti-inflammatory and also thermogenic (rev up that metabolism!).
I'm happy that your stall finally broke!!!

I've seen quite a few people who have reported that having one day with upped amounts of carbs worked for them as well..kind of a little kick start to get things going..perhaps someone who is wiser than I might know why this seems to work for so many but I dont..who cares as long as it does!! Glad things are looking up for you

Congratulations! I find that once in a while if I eat a higher carb meal that I get a whoosh, too. I tried eating higher carb for a whole day and it was too much. I do think our bodies get used to what we are doing, so shaking it up a bit now and again is good.
