my bf was joking the other night, "does semen have carbs?" well, that got him a punch in the stomach for an answer...

now im starting to wonder... does it? i know it has calories.

I always heard it mostly protein, so over the years I have heard many jokes about "how about a protein boost" etc. :lol:

I found the thread rather interesting. I just objected to the automatic assumption that DrH is a physician.

I worked 15 years as a wildlife rehabilitator, which is a very unglamorous avocation. One spends one's time doing such "fun" tasks as wiping up blood and vomit, picking off ticks, pulling blackfly larvae out from under the skin of baby birds, examining the "results" after deworming animals in order to identify the exact species of worm, scrubbing cages, and most of all, simply shoveling buckets full of sh*t every day. That doesn't even include the gazillion times an animal evacuated the entire contents of its bowels and bladder right down the front of my shirt while I was handling the critter!
