Okay I've actually made it 8 days now. I haven't received my new scale from Amazon yet so I can't weigh in, but I feel pretty good. I seem to have more energy than in a long time. I no longer get home from work just wanting to nap. And I took no naps on the weekend and was out being active and having fun. This is truly a step in the right direction! I'm going to keep at this no matter how long it takes.

Congrats!!! I am on 8 days now too!! I decided not to weigh myself until the end of the two week induction. I can definitely feel a difference in my clothing all ready!! Do you feel different? Many on the forum have said not to go strictly by the scale... the fact that you are feeling energetic and enjoying yourself is the most important. Don't be disappointed if the scale does not tell you what you expected. I am hoping to take this advice as well!!
Good luck!

Way to go!
I just finished my second week and have to admit, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, but I could have made it a lot harder than it was.
Keep it up.

Congrats! I don't miss those naps. It's unbelievable how much we slept our lives away from all those carbs. Great job!

You will continue to feel just great..after awhile you will forget what it is like to want to sleep all the time..I would encourage you to measure...I am smaller at this weight than I was the last time I weighed this same weight..the LC lifestyle reshapes your body and sometimes even though you show no weight loss you show inch loss...

:) Good to hear from you all. Yeah, I'm not going to miss those naps either. It really got me down recently when my eight year old son, in response to a teacher query "what does your dad like to do" said: he likes to rest, watch TV.
OUCH. Couch Potato man. I intend not to return to the couch!

Congrats on doing this for yourself! You are going to enjoy having more energy as it goes into the summer months with that little guy of yours...
Take care!

WTG!!! I just finished 2 weeks myself, and I LOVE the energy boost. I still want to nap when I get home from work but that's because I work 16+ hours a day usually  But I have more energy when i am AT work.
