Your signature says it all - one day at a time.....and so each day provides a new start!!!!!! We have all had those moments ......... we just don't want those moments to turn into years!
Best wishes

Our start weights are close...and we are the same height....I've surely had my share of breakdowns but we keep getting back up and getting right back onto plan the very next minute....thats what I did and still do!!
None of us is perfect and this journey is a process of learning about ourselves and our bodies. Look at what happened and see what you can learn from it and then forgive youself....tomorrow is a new day.
I'd say yes...start Induction over...Good Luck!!

So back to induction I go right? How many of you have had bad weekends?Or just a little nibble turns out to be a big cheat feast!!! :help:How about a one day trip to Mexico with the best of intentions to be good but was assaulted by the chips and salsa, rice, beans. It was good, didn't help me lose weight so back to induction for three days.
Just keep going. I have it on authority that even the good doc himself occasionally had a doughnut. Nobody is perfect.

Ah, shake it off. Life goes on. You had more carbs than you planned. You didn't do anyting "bad"...no guilt....just a goofy day and then you go right back on induction now.
I went out tonight and had about 10-12 french fries and 2 nacho chips and you know what? I had a great time out with friends, it was a planned increase in carbs, and tomorrow I'm back on induction. No guilt. Plain and simple. I do pretty good on weekends, but wanted to have what I had and that's ok. We're all human. One day of crazy eating is better than weeks and weeks and months and years and years worth - so move on! :)

Here's the thing----embrace this as a lifestyle and not a diet---don't beat yourself up if you eat more carbs once in awhile---get right back into plan (usually induction) to get on track---and think twice before the next time, maybe the carbs won't go as high.....
Celebrate your successes, and want them more than anything you'd put in your mouth...It is being positive that will help you overcome----good luck!!

I've had fall-off-the-wagon experiences that are for the record books. . .
j13 likes to bring up "one hambuger bun" that led to a whole slew of bad stuff, including a package of four apple turnovers (Pepperidge Farms remembers!) and half a pizza. Not a little personal pan pizza, 4 slices of a NY style 8 slice 18" pizza!
And the whole time I was telling myself - well, you had a bad day. . . enjoy it and you can start new tomorrow.
Lies is what that was.
I'm not saying I'm perfect now, far from it, but I'm trying real hard.
