New to the triple digits club.
I did an intro on the introduce yourself thread but thought I'd post here as well.
I won't make my intro here as detailed... left a very detailed one on the other thread and only got 2 responses. Oh well.
I am 5'9'' and around 225 currently. Just put on all this weight in the past five years. Ready to get it off. I don't really want to lose 100 pounds but I probably could and not really be underweight. So, I hope it's alright for me to join in this group even though I am only wanting to lose 65-70 pounds. More would be great but I am trying to be realistic. For now, my mini goal is just to get to 199. Something about being under 200 that would make me very happy even though it is still far from my ultimate goal.
I am fairly new to low carbing. I am really hoping I can do this. I have an eating disorder history (mia) and don't want to go that route. More about this in my post in the introduce yourself thread entitled, "New from Atlanta and a bit scared" if you are interested in reading.
Thanks. It seems like this is a good place for support and also for accountability, which is what I really need.
