I have a Chin!

Yes, it's true! I have a chin, a noticeable one too! For the past 28 years, I thought my face was round. Guess what? It's not! I'm not too sure what shape it will end up being, but right now, I'd have to say it's more heart shaped. You see, I bought a digital camera a couple of days ago and was fooling around taking some self portraits with it. I downloaded them onto my computer ( amazing feat for me BTW :lol: ) and just sat and stared at them in amazement. The face I was looking into, didn't look like mine. The lady in the picture had a CHIN. I thought I was seeing things, so I pulled out some old pictures and YES, it was true...my face has changed shape! It was so noticeable, even to me this time! So my big brag of the day..a CHIN...a simple thing that not many even stop to ponder, but to me today a milestone! Has anyone else noticed something like this?

What an awesome feeling. I didn't realize how much my face had changed till our last trip and they kept asking for secondary ID since my passport picture was taken when I was about 450 or so.

:thup: Whoohoo! Congrats! I cant wait until my face is less fat. I honestly feel so much prettier with less facial fat. Luckily I didnt get most of it until this last 50 lbs so Im hoping its one of the first things to go!

Woohoo! Way to go chisled chin! I know what you mean about thinking you have a round face. I see pictures of myself when I was 75lbs thinner and even then, while not thin, I had a narrow face and a sharp chin. I can't wait to get my looks back. I already see a difference in my face. Or maybe I just like what I see because I'm proud of myself. Whatever, either way I feel better about my face shape.

Congrats Char! I know you've been struggling with the scale weight, so it's great that you can see a difference in your body. No one can read the scale but you, but everyone can see this difference. Great job!

WTG in finding a chin! Excellent progress..... cheek bones next and then who knows....

I remember having a very round face, then having several chins and finally just ONE! It is a great feeling.

It's so true Kandra. I told this to my hubby when I saw the pictures and he just looked at me funny and said..."You've always had a chin." In my mind, I'm thinking, yeah, I've always had a chin, but now you can actually SEE it! Then the next thought...I have to go write about this in the TDC...they'll understand! :)

"A" chin? hahaha! I can see that my face has slimmed, but I've never been slim at my current age, and I'm worried I'm going to go from several chins, to one chin, to turkey neck! Yike!

Congrats Char, on your success! i know you struggle with the number on the scale, but isn't it nice to see the body is transforming itself all the same!
