Oh god this is such an embarassing question, but I actually heard somewhere sometime ago mention this very change. I don't know how to put this, but does body fat get really soft and squishy when you low carb? I never had what you'd call "pillowy squishy" fat, eventhough I have a tummy (obviously I do! Haha!) but today it feels like my body fat has changes and gotten really squiiiiiiiishy. I have to admit I was standing there in the mirror squishy squishing my stomach. I was fascinated by it. What is with that? It's hilarious!
I can't believe I am actually about to post this.

Yea I know what you mean. Its much more loose after a few weeks of LC. You dont have that hard bloated stomach anymore, its great! I love the feeling, lets me know Im on the right track.

Yep, when you lose the fat in the cell, water replaces it for a period of time. Then all of a sudden you get that whoosh. I would just love to know how the body decides when to let go of the water in the cell. I really notice it in my thighs.

Thanks...I was reading this poking my tummy, and DH walked in right as I said (to myself...yes, I talk to myself) "It DOES feel squishier." He just looked at me real odd, grinned, and left the room.
Now to chase him down and convince him I'm not crazy. :D
