Happy St. Patrick's day weekend everyone!

I'm wondering, does anyone find weekends to be challenging? I know, probably a goofy question, huh. Are you doing anything fun for St. Patrick's day? Green eggs and ham? :yum:

We're going out for breakfast with friends tomorrow morning and then possibly to a movie in the afternoon. Rats, no popcorn. I'll be satisfied with a diet coke, though.

Other than that, it's the same old same old. I'm dying to weigh in next Wednesday. The scale is in the bathroom but I know better than to start obsessing everyday on it.

I don't normally have a problem on the weekends, but tomorrow is my only living uncle's 95th birthday and we always go up and he cooks up a bunch of down home Southern foods and I doubt there will be anything low carb. He always makes fried chicken (coated with flour), corn, green beans with sugar, macaroni and cheese, biscuits and baked beans. He is really proud of how much weight I've lost so he might not mind me not eating, but he's always wanted to cook his own birthday dinner for us. At least he already knows that I hate cake and didn't eat it before Atkins. What to do? What to do?

Sunny!

Well it being the St Patty's Day weekend is making those fermented hops cravings louder. Luckily, I don't have any at home, I just have to avoid going out with my boyz.

Am going on a casino trip with friends. We will most likely eat at the buffet restaurant and bring lo carb foods with for the hotel room. I have more trouble during the week then on the weekends.

I seem to find weekends when I'm home easier to deal with than weekdays when I work. I have more control over having lc snacks if I'm hungry, and my meals are spaced better. During the week, breakfast is going to be around 4:30...lunch will be around 2:15....(unless I can find a way to eat while driving which is a big no no with my company. I drive city transit) then dinner about 6.

I plan to go out this evening, but I'll just drink water, and eat good before I go.

Well, this helps: I am down to 178 today, so I won't mess that up by eating something I shouldn't. Getting into the 170's is the hardest thing I've ever done.
