Well I'm back again. I have been here and back so many times I'm starting to wonder if I can really do this. I figured a clean fresh start is the way to go. I'm working on getting my journal deleted so I can start a new one, so I figured a new introduction is in order to.

I'm 29 years old, married (no kids) and have just recently moved to New York. I have a new job, where I work round the clock, and a new apartment that is finally starting to take shape. While training for my job I was staying in hotels and eating fastfood junk for 10 weeks, although I somehow managed to lose 12 pounds just from the increased activity. I started low carbing Sunday and am down 4 pounds so far.

I am planning to join Curves (gym for women) on tuesday. I would do it sooner but there is a winter storm warning in effect til saturday night, they aren't open sundays and my boss is comming monday. I know it sounds like I am making excuses but I really can't get there til tuesday. I have a lot more energy and feel much better since I started low carbing sunday, and that in itself is reason enough to stay on track for me right now.

Well I just thought I would introduce myself and hopefully have a place to come for support when I start to falter.

Welcome!! This is a new start for you. The only reason to visit the past is to think about those times you went off the wagon and determine what it was, and develop a strategy for the next time you are faced with that type of situation again. You CAN lose the weight this time. Don't paint this time with yesterday's paintbrush.

Sounds like you have a lot of stuff happening in your life right now and it's all positive. Congratulations!
