I remember reading on a post on here about some of you ordering your Da Vinci sugarfree syrups and was wondering if you could give the the site you use. I'm a bit leary of giving out my info. online so I thought if you have done this without any problems then surely I too can trust whom you use. In the area that I live all the local stores (Wal-Mart to be exact), only carry 4 different flavors. (vanilla, hazelnut, caramel and raspberry) From several recipes on here I've heard of so many others and I'd like a huge variety!

Also, when I was searching for the syrups I noticed another brand recommended by Da Vinci that covers those they have discontinued. This other brand is "Torani", anyone used these and if so what is your opinion???

Thanks for your help!

Cissie

Go to yahoo shopping and type in sugar free syrups to search. It'll come up with everywhere yahoo has on record for SF syrups, sorted by price!

Personally, I go to Ross or Marshalls. They always have them available, ON SALE!

Netrition.com and my local TJ Maxx stores often carry them. Also my local health food store.

i found torani syrups at cost plus... you might also find them at something like tuesday morning or any "import" store that carries food. personally, i think they're a good balance between flavor and sweetness. i use the chocolate and hazelnut sugar-free syrups when i make chocolate whipped cream.

you can also check coffee shops. some of the individual stores and small chains that use sf syrups sometimes sell them as well. i found a whole line in an ice cream shop and it's the grind offered two flavors for sale as well. a small coffee shop around the corner from my house stocks and sells several flavors plus big train products.

also, i was at target last night, and they sell a couple of flavors of sugarfree syrup in their own brand which was arrow ? farms

I was just in Sams Club today and they have about 6 different flavors of the sugar free Da Vinci syrups.

I found DaVinci syrups at super wal-mart, and I've found that almost every nicer grocery store carries at least a couple flavors of other brands of sf flavored syrups on the coffee aisle.

Cissie - I got the Torani SF Vanilla at The Christmas Tree Shoppe for $2.99 - the taste is really good. I went back to get more and it was gone.

Oh, and thanks for the link to the sale on DaVinci - I just ordered 6 bottles!

I use Torani, and I love it. I get it in my regular grocery store, but they only have vanilla and hazelnut. If I want other flavors I'd have to order online. I know amazon has some low carb products so you can check there.

I order through netrition.com all the time, get great customer service from them, and have no hesitation in recommending them. You're right in thinking you'll need to order online to find variety beyond vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut or raspberry.

I was excited the day I found Torani syrups at my grocery store, about 4 flavors, but upon closer inspection, only 1 of them, hazelnut, was sugar free.

I used to buy them in my grocery store, when they stocked a large supply of Atkin's products. But I have seen them at GNC and other whole foods places.

If you have a Wegman's, look at their diet aisles. They carry a nice supply of diet needs, and maybe they will carry it.

I was in a Sam's Club yesterday and they had several flavors of DaVinci syrup for about $4 a bottle.

I have to ask- what does everyone use these for? I almost bought me some but I don't drink coffee. So what else can they be used for?

I've used them to make soads with club soda, to flavor ice cream and desserts, to make snow cones, to flavor daikon radish to taste like pineapple...discovering new ideas all the time :)

i add them to Carbquik in place of 1/2 of the water, to make pancakes. Yum, hazelnut or caramel or raspberry pancakes.

WOW! Thats a lot of flavoring, 1/2 cup? Is it overwhelming?

You misread, I didn't say 1/2 cup. But then again, I have no idea how much, I don't measure, I just add water and syrup until the consistency is about right.

I bought an Ice shaver, and I make my own snow cones.... only in a dish. I don't feel deprived in the summer. I use Atkins low-carb strawberry over the top, but I also found that a bit of low carb juice is just as good, as well as sugar-free Kool-aid.
