Since OoO has antiseptic / antibiotic qualities I want to try it for Strep Throat - that I happened to get from my grandkids.

How much such I take and how long does it take to work or not - if not then I will have to visit the doctor - Yuck!!!!.

Thanks

Remember Scarlet Fever? Same bug causes strep throat. I personally wouldn't take the risk that something that can be treated so easily could turn into a lifelong heart problem.

I don't know. When I know there are tangible ugly bugs in my body (in my case, it was red stripes up my leg after stepping on a stick that came up with my foot), I get big drugs and don't mess with "antibiotic properties." OoO is nice when I'm feeling down and not sure I'm coming down with something--I'll bomb the heck out of a wheeze with the whole family, from echinacea to olive seed extract.

I would be right upset if I got strep by standing in line next to someone who had not treated it promptly.

What's with your doctor that visits are yucky? I don't much care for the hassle, but I like the office staff. I could do fine if I never saw them again, too, but not by gambling my long term health on an outcome.

Good luck.

OOO has been shown to kill strep in vitro.

While I might use it as a preventative or in conjunction I would see a doctor.

you're the same person laid up with the steroids and asthma. The steroids have put a ding in your immune response.

OoO may be able to give you a bit of a boost, but with an impaired immune system, you're going to need all the pharma help you can get.

Good luck.

cs_carver, I have seen my share of doctors lately due to my Asthma attack and I've come across some conflicting issues and need a break from doctors and modern medicine.

Sadly, I have No choice now but to get doctor approved care. I have a call into my doctor and waiting to hear back ....... who knows when that will ever be .........

Thanks everyone!

Just back from the doctor and it is NOT Strep throat!!
It's more a reaction to the steroids for my asthma.

I'd still like to add the OoO to help me heal.

Thanks eveyone

I think it would be great to add OOO as a preventative now. Slowly...

I'm glad you don't have strep.
