Hi,

Currently I own the WATP Express 2 mile brisk walk (and 1 mile is on the same dvd). I like it OK. I do NOT like her incessant chatter (I think they should include a MUSIC ONLY option so you can hear the music and NOT the talking!) and the lack of structure (for lack of a better word--it's all over the place in terms of movements and how long/how many she does of each one) of the workout, but it's better than nothing. It uses the stretchy-band, and I just use my hand weights.

OK...so my question is: are there any other of her dvd's that use HAND WEIGHTS and not the band!

I'm interested in 30 minute (or less) workouts that use weights and NOT the band.

I saw the walk strong online, but there are apparently different versions of that, one with the stretchy and one with weights. If anyone has the one with the weights and can describe the cover (colors, etc) for me, that would be great.

I saw the Express Super Challenge, is that 30 minutes and with weights?

Can anybody tell me about any of the others, like the walk/kick or the walk for abs?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

Unfortunately, I can't answer your questions because I've only seen and used her 2 mile WATP DVD, but totally agree about her incessant chatter.

Have you checked out her website: Walk Away The Pounds (http://www.walkawaythepounds.com/homepage.asp) ... you might find some answers there :)

I ended up ordering the old Walk Strong workout. It uses weights and is 30 minutes. I'm going to open it up and try it probably Thursday!

I know you posted this question a while ago - maybe you have found what you are looking for by now? But I have the 3-mile from 2001 - she uses the handweights (balls) from about the second half until near the end. I think it is still available on Amazon? The 2-mile from that 2001 set is only a half-hour and I am 99% sure it uses the weighted balls as well.

I also have her Walk and Kick - and I really like it. I enjoy the "intervals" that go between her normal walk stuff and the kickboxing (which is toned down a TON from what they do in gyms - but it nice to mix it up!) There are no weights in it - but it is only a half hour.

The regular WATP series uses the hand weights (the balls). I use the 2 and 3 mile pretty frequently, but haven't been brave enough for the 4-mile yet.

And if you think her chatter in those was bad, I have the inspirational walks she does, too.

I did end up getting her "Walk Strong" re-release. There is another Walk Strong that is new and uses the band, but this is a re-release of the older (2001) workout and uses hand weights.

I have to say that I LOVE IT! It is NOTHING like the Express DVD I have. She is more serious, more choreographed, more BETTER! She barely SPOKE to the people she was with, much less "yucked it up" with them, like she does in the Express 2 mile/1 mile. The movements flow well, and the work level is just great. LOVE IT LOVE IT!

I'm so totally impressed that I'm thinking I should check out of some her older stuff.
