Well, I have NO IDEA what is going on. I have been trying to follow a LC lifestyle, including a Meat and Egg diet for a period of some weeks.
I have been following an LC lifestyle for at least 6 weeks now and yet this morning, upon visiting the hospital, my weigh in indicated that I am at 107kgs or 235.6Lbs.
So I have actually gone up in weight.
The ONLY major thing that I have NOT done is exercise, but this has been due to illness and injury.
I am SERIOUSLY questioning the LC principles now. Any input would be appreciated but certainly not expected.
Good luck to all.
Paulee.

Dont get to down about it. Our bodies hold on and do things that we have to get use to, esp if you are recovering from something, illness, an injury, taking meds, this is not light on the body
and it has to adjust.
Look for hidden sugars and carbs, look for not enough carbs!,look for to much splenda or caffine, and not enough water. Just some ideas.
Not sure what you have been doing

I have been following an LC lifestyle for at least 6 weeks now and yet this morning, upon visiting the hospital, my weigh in indicated that I am at 107kgs or 235.6Lbs.You've gained about 1/2 pound, Paulee. It's perfectly normal for one's weight to go up and down from day to day.
I strongly urge you to choose a plan, get the book for it, read the book carefully, and follow the instructions faithfully. I've already given you suggestions on where to buy books online, including shipping prices to your country. You definitely won't succeed in losing weight if you continue to bounce from plan to plan every couple of weeks, or to "make it up as you go along." But that's not the fault of the eating plans!
Are you still taking the antidepressants? What foods have you been eating since you stopped the Meat & Egg diet a week or two ago due to the gout problem? And, the experience of some members notwithstanding, others of us have to limit our calories -- especially those of us who aren't able to exercise.
Post some sample menus for us to critique. We'll do our best. But I reiterate ... choose a plan, buy the book for it, and follow it as it is written for a minimum of 2 months.
Good luck!
