Angel girl.
There has been a ton of threads on here lately regarding vitamins..Kebaldwin has written some extensive things on what you may need with examples and links.

For what it's worth, never buy One a days or Centrums or Natures Made or any cheap, crappy vitamin supplements.

You just won't see the kinodof results that a good qulaity multi can provide.

I suggest you look into any Multi (perhaps a womans specific formula) from Natures Way, Solaray, Country Life,Solgar, Natures Life, TwinLab, Enzymatic therapy, Jarrow and Source Naturals. They are all good quality, medium priced products.

I think everyone here is in agreement that a little extra Vit C,magnesium, lots of fish oil or Cod liver oil, antioxidants and D are all good to include in your supplement plan.

I would recommend a high quality "mega" multi-vitamin designed for women. You should have to take like six or eight capsules per day. Typically half with breakfast and half with dinner. You want to take them with food so that your body thinks they came from the food. You may feel sick if you take them on an empty stomach

Next up is plenty of fish oil. Like 4 or more grams per day. The jury is still out - for women (men should probably only take fish oil) - but women may want to substitute some of the fish oil with plant based oils - borrage, evening primrose, flax, and others.

I like chromium -- it helps stabilize my blood sugar -- makes me less hungry and less cravings. Others have not had the same experience -- but I take like 800 mcg per day (again half with breakfast and half with dinner). I would start with 400 mcg per day for two weeks and then try like 600 mcg per day -- and see if it is better or worse. If you get light headed -- cut back

Next up is probably antioxidants. Theory is -- free radicals are going around in your body and unless you counteract them with antioxidants -- bad things happen like cancer, heart disease, stroke, inflammation, etc.

Magnesium is a great choice. Used in many, many body functions. get like 400 or 500 mg capsules and start experimenting with how many to take. Start out with like 1000 mg per day. If you take too little -- you are constipated. Take too much -- and you have diarehea(?). So figure out for yourself how much to take

You will also need to take potassium. Best source is salt substitute sold in most grocery stores. Main ingredient should be potassium. The RDA for potassium is like 3,500 mg. It takes a while to get use to the taste -- so start out slow and increase. Mix with pepper or some other spices to hide taste. This will help eliminate cramps.

There are many other supplements depending on what medical problems you have. BUt these would get you off to a great start.
