I've been reading how great their splenda-sweetened chocolate is, so I went to their website only to find the following message.
"We regret to announce that as of January 31, 2007 Eat Well Be Well Foods, Inc. is no longer in business. No products are available for sale from us."
Bummer.

It was announced several weeks ago. There are some stores that still have Eat Well Be Well products, till the supply runs out. Many of us are going to miss this chocolate!

I bought a few of the chocolate chip packages from www.amazon.com. They were pretty expensive though: $5.99 for an 8 ounce bag. :o No place near me sells them though and I have yet to find a better alternative so I bucked up for them.

You know, I was pondering last night....it seems that so many people loved their products, I wonder if they couldn't get someone to buy them out? Perhaps they just expanded too quickly and had too much debt. It seems like a ton of websites that sell their products still have them listed as 'new' items! (of course, some of those websites may now be defunct, themselves!).

Which websites are you referring to? I'd love to see if I can buy some more online!

Sorry - didn't mean to give false hope. I was simply referring to the company's products in general, not to any particular items. I should have noted that in my post.

For some reason I hate the chocolate chips but I love the bars. The first time I got the chocolate chips I thought I got a bad batch. About 8 months later I decided to try the chocolate chips again. I hated them again. They always tasted old and stale and just funny.

I ordered several bags of their chocolate chips from Carbsmart.com last week. I guess they still have some on hand. Anyone still interested might stock up now!
