~Stacy's Sausage Stir-Fry~

You Need:

2 pkg. of Polska Kielbasa Sausage Links{sliced in rounds}

1/4 C. each of these things; soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, teriyaki sauce, water, and chopped parsley.
2-3 long ribs of sliced celery/sliced like spaghetti pasta..

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 5 green onions- chopped-tops and all.

In a cast iron skillet/or other:

Add water and all the sauces..Whisk together.

Turn heat to hi and add sausage, celery, & parsley.
Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Very lightly sprinkle with garlic powder.

Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add green onions.

Stir well and turn heat to med. hi. Cover and cook 5 minutes.

Stir and cook for 5 minutes more uncovered.

Serve.

I always make my kicked up brown rice with this.
{If on induction/no rice}
Once the rice is added to the boiling water, I add half a tsp. of cumin, 1 Tbs. chopped parsley, 1 Tbs. chopped cilantro, and 1/2 C. chopped grape tomatoes.

Continue to cook by directions.

If on induction/or to be different I'll also serve this with black-eyed-peas and salad.

This one sounds really good. Are black eyed peas allowed on SB induction? Been a while since I've done SB. With salad though this can fit in with atkins, SB, or pretty much any plan.

I'm not doin' SBD completely by the book..

If I feel too deprived I lose interest.

Tryin' it not so strict this time, but pretty much sticking close by it.

I'm havin' 1 serving of the peas and they have fiber, so I'm not worried. ;)

It does fit in w/alot...Just pick the sides that work best for your plan. :wave:

Enjoy!
My family loves it as well.

Just thought I'd mention that this would be too high in carbs for Atkins Induction.
Both worcestershire and teriyaki sauce are pretty carby. A quarter cup of these 2 sauces will add 25 carbs to the recipe. ;)

I know..Drats!

Since switching to atkins I will miss this!

It's so yummy..Isn't that how it can work with great food? lol

Gonna work on tweaking it now to make it atkins approved! :thup:
