I am heading to Fudds on Friday night and am getting a bunless burger with bacon. YESSSSSS! My question is about the cheese sauce they let you smother your fries with. You know, the stuff in the pump thing next to the mustard/ketchup pumps. Do you know the carbs of that? Fuddruckers does not post nutrition on their website.

I want that cheese for my burger! I am going to FL this weekend for a family emergency. I'll be eating Sonic, so I'll want to be a good girl while I can!

HELP!

If it's anything like melted cheese whiz.......the jar I have in the fridge says it has 4g carbs (2 from sugars) per 2 tblsps. If it's anything like a cheese sauce....like the kind I used to make for my homemade mac & cheese........the base of it is a white sauce which is actually flour, milk, and butter. Most likely it is a processed cheese sauce though because you wouldn't be able to leave the latter sitting out for hours on end if it has milk in it.

Just have them put a slice of cheese when they cook it, it should only have 1 gram, the sauce is processed and bad for lc diets, god knows whats in it. It is good though . :yum:

I think that's a very safe assumption and a good mantra! LOL

Yeah, you're better off asking them for cheese...cheddar or something less processed if they have it. Now me being the constant life-balance queen I might consider asking for the sauce on the side and measuring 1 tbsp out on my burger (I'm weird like that). But there is no doubt Snacky is right...that stuff is good but it ain't good FOR you! Enjoy and congrats on trying to make much better choices!

Thanks Lisa. No whiz is better than whiz, for sure. I am going to stick with cheddar, which I do like a lot. The whiz is self-serve, so I would definitely have 1/3 cup or something on there. HAHAHA... Naughty thoughts. I'll stay on the right side of reason and get bacon and cheese, no bun (and no fries/shake). I will indulge on the shredded lettuce instead. ;)

They also have a fab salad with cheese, egg, bacon etc etc. It is also so big that it is embarassing to carry back to your table.

 I'm glad we don't have it here. It just sounds dirty, and I'm NEVER one to be able to stop snickering like an adolescent.

It just sounds dirty, and I'm NEVER one to be able to stop snickering like an adolescent. Ya see, we have that part in common (the snickering and adolescent humor) but for that reason alone I'd love to have one locally! Then I'd say it like I was drunk. <giggle>

We ate at one on vacation, and it was really good. I was lowcarbing at the time, and the food was delicious.

Kvon, do you say fu**rudders, or Ruddfu**ers? Oh, I am sorry, I just had to ask...... *snickers and runs away*

Because it's so delish! Nowhere in DC metro can you get a chili cheese hot dog with a side of chili cheese tots. Oh baby! Plus I'm moving to the Philippines in June and won't have it for a looooooooong time. I have to make my peace with it. :D

ROTFL here! True story: Many years ago, I worked for an employment agency. Every day, I had to make a live radio announcement of the job openings we had available. We always had jobs in the logging industry. Up in this part of the country, the guys who cut down the trees are called "fallers," and the guys who remove the limbs from the trees after they are felled are called "buckers." Imagine having to say "... and we have openings for fallers and buckers" live on the radio every day without getting your tongue all tangled up and making a horrid faux pas!

order the bunless southwest burger it comes with avacado bacon and cheese and is so good. It is my favorite and you can add a small salad or just make one with the toppings bar.

It's weird, sometimes the appeal of a place is mainly in the fact that you don't have one near. I've never been to Fuddruckers, and it might be a great place as far as I could know. But this autumn I went to England and as my friend and I were leaving again 5 days later I spotted a Starbucks in Birmingham International.

Now, my friend had had Starbucks before. I'm not sure he understood why I HAD to go try some of their coffee, but he was game for a cup, so off we went. And of course, I discovered that it wasn't at all different from the zillion coffee bars in and around Oslo, it was just branded.

I took a while to decide on my beverage, and eventually chose a venti ice coffee of some sort (NOT on the diet at the time). They don't do those very well here. It was delicious and gave me a horrible brain freeze... I actually saved my napkin to prove I'd been there (Yes, I am weird like that, so sue me!)...
