My TSH has always been 5.5-6.6 regardless of the increase in Synthroid.
At Christmas I was on 200, had a blood test that showed my TSH as less than .01.
So we decreased the dosage to 188.... my TSH just came back as 8.72!!
I 'm working on getting down to an Endo, but any ideas?? Have been increased again to 200.

Maybe it's your pituitary gland having problems? It's the gland that produces TSH.

Why did you decrease the dose? Was it because of the numbers?
How did you feel on that dosage? How you feel is much more relevant than than what the numbers say.
