So here it is...the Spring Break Countdown.

I'll let be up to everyone to choose what their goals are but here's what I've worked out:

After weighin on Friday Feb. 1st:
Week 1 Ends the morning of Feb 8th;
Week 2 Ends the morning of Feb 15 (just in time for Vday);
Week 3 Ends the morning of Feb 22;
Week 4 Ends the morning of March 1;
Week 5 Ends the morning of March 8...
If you want to make it longer, go for it.

I haven't decided what my goal will be yet but I was thinking either 10lb (2/week), 12.5 (2.5/week), or maybe 15 (3/week)...ahhh..lol. I think I'll just try to make all of them and be happy with what I hit...lol.

I've decided to go the 2.5 per week slot and plan on reaching 142.5 by the time the challenge ends :rose: That would be a 12.5 loss *crossing fingers*.

So let's all loose some extra booty folks....

Hi Everyone!!

I'll jump in on this one too!!!

I might be popping in to support others more than anything else though..... I've been dropping just one pound at a time ...about every 10 - 14 days. But I'm losing inches (building muscle)

Anyway.... I'll shoot for the 2 lbs week-- total 10 lbs and be happy with what I get!!! :D

I think this will be great for motivation and support!!!

Your thread made me think of something. Maybe we should list our measurements (either instead of, or with weighin, or not at all;) ) b/c like you said the scale may not be dropping, but the bod can be chaning. What I think I'll do is take my measurements on Friday and then at the End just to see how much I've changed (I never feel like I'm taking the measurements in the right spots...I think I'll do a search on that to see if someone knows the correct spots of the bod).

Count me in. I like the 2/wk or 12 lbs. I have been losing 1 lb/week, so this will be a challange. It will be the lowest I have been in 5 years! I also like the idea of tracking inches lost. I have lost about 3 inches this month so I am hoping that much again.

So I don't know what my weighin should be...I was out drinking last night so I weighed 138.5 this morning... which is definitely dehydration. I'll way that I weigh 138.5, but I may change it tomorrow...lol

I want to hit my goal (the final and real one on OWL) so that means I'm shooting for 13 lbs. and that's 2.6 a week.

In Atkins one page 217-8 (of the New Rev'n) he lists the Desireable Weights for women over 25. Since your 5'8" - small frame: 122-131, medium frame: 128-143, and 137-154. The way I figured my goal weight is by percent body fat. Here's a thread that gives a link to figure it out and also suggestions on what percent body fat is ideal (look for Nat's posts on the first page) - % Body Fat (http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31894&perpage=15&pagenumber=1) . I am new to these sorts of challenges, do we post our weights weekly in a new post? etc...

I would like to loose 2.5 lbs a week. If I could get to 168 by then I would be VERY VERY happy...... This is my lowest after preg weight that I have made it too....

Hi folks,

I want to lose 12 pounds.....or two inches off my waist! Since I weight train, I figured that might be better......

I lose weight pretty slowly--but I gain it very slowly too. That's why I have high hopes of keeping this weight off. The 9 pounds I've already lost this past month have been INSANE for me :)

Feb 1st: weight 171 (may be lower though, scale at gym has always seemed a few pounds off)

measurements:
WAIST- 32.7 INCHES
HIGH HIP - 37.5 (this is wear I wear my pants)
LOW HIP - 39
TORSO - 33.5
BUST - 39
THIGH - 22.7
UPPER ARM - 12.9

I measure myself and am wondering where eveyone else measures, or where your supose to measure? I measure everything from my neck to my ankle and everything in between LOL...

Also where is your waist supose to be ? I don't really have a waist. My pants go over top of my belly, and are not near my belly button. (this could be because my belly button is alot lower than it should be.)

Has anyone been watching the new program on TLC *the learning channel* called "The Personal Story" ? Every morning they do two shows based on plastic surgery. I have seen a few tummy tuck procedures and have seen some amazing results... Just curious if any one plans on having the excess skin removed once they loose all their weight? I don't think I could ever afford it.. and am a big wimp LOL..

I know what you mean about "no waist", Mine is generally nonexistant. Well, WAS. On this LC WOE it seems like all of the weight I've lost has been on my waist, right below my rib cage! It's really exciting....I'm starting to get a FIGURE! :yay: :yay:

First it was trading spaces, then the dating story (b/c most are in Phila - where I'm from), then it was the wedding story, and now a Personal Story...I watch all day. I used to watch a personal story at my gym while I was on the tread mill - it's in my complex so not a lot of people go there...except this one time when this guy and came and started watching. It was the episode where the Chic gets new teeth, anyway, he thought it was the grossest thing and couldn't believe I could watch it...lol. I'm totally addicted. About the tummy tuck, I heard a couple people talking about it, you should do a search.

Hello everybody!...If it is not too late I would like to join the
challenge.

I will be starting induction on Monday 2/04/02 - with a goal of loosing 2 lbs per week. I have used the Atkins program before,
and I am anxious to start again.

Current weight: 163 pounds
Challenge goal weight: 153 pounds
Ultimate goal weight: 120 pounds

My biggest obstacle...is finding the motivation to consistently
exercise!

I am a 40 yr. old, stay at home Mom....with 2 boys - ages 10 & 12
I would love to hear from other women who have been successful with the program. Thanks!!

P.S. Just a hint...when you measure...most clothing catologues
show a pcture of "where" to measure. That way you always
measure in the same place.

Little bit late....but better late than never- right? Anywho, Friday's weigh in was 183 but today's is 184....but my blazer can button! This blazer never has comfortably. I don't mind losing some on my bust, just didn't think I would. To recap, I'd like to be at or below 170 on 3/8. Goals are great to have. :roll:

I read somewhere that you should measure your upper bust, bust and lower bust as this gives you a good indication of how your back is thinning down. This is a good idea because as the flab below the bust disappears your shape returns.

My weight seems to have stuck, as I weigh on Mondays and Fridays so here's hoping it goes down a bit by Friday!

I am new here and I have been reading everyone's posts and getting really motivated from them. I would love to join the spring challenge to lose weight in a month. I would like to shoot for the 15 lbs in a month if it is not too late to join the challenge that ends March 8th.
So far in total, I have lost ten pounds and would really love to lose that extra 15 before I feel like the results can be seen by myself and others.
For everyone's info, I am 5'8 and 21 and so I feel like the extra pounds that I started with could really be lifted off of my smaller frame body. I can't believe that I actually use to weight 115 at one point in my life, and so that is why I have made that my goal weight. Good luck everyone and I can't wait to hear everyone's successes each week.

Hi. Welcome to the countdown. Where do you go to school? I'm a senior at Indiana University, but I'm originally from Philadelphia. It's so glad to see people my age on here - this site has been a lifesafer, but my boyfriend thinks I'm a wierdo...lol. Over the past three years I gained almost 30 lbs, I'd say that's more than the freshman 15 and I was tired of it. I couldn't believe when I gat a scale how much bigger I was - I honestly hadn't noticed :rolleyes: I've been on Atkins/PP for almost 4 months. Good luck. See you on Friday weighins. Great job on your loss so far.

You sure have lost a lot of weight and congradulations on it. You are an inspiration for me and a great model as to what can happen on this diet or should I say WOL? :thup:

I also gained my extra weight during college (I go to Northwestern), like you and now I want to eventually end college at least at the same weight that I started. It was so hard to eat healthy things all of the time and after a while I just gave up. A lot of my friends never have to watch their weight and I am so jealous. Do you find it hard to get other people to support you on this diet? I feel like I can see results after 10 lbs of mostly water, but I know that I am probably imagining it. I just wish people encouraged me along and praised every little pound. Now I know that is not possible at all, but can't I wish. This forum should help a lot though.

Thank you so much for the great welcome to this site!!! I am so excited to be able to talk to other people that are my age and are trying to lose weight in a healthy manner just like me. :spin:

Well, concerning support, it depends. Some of my friends are awesome and everytime I see them, they encouraging. However, I have my share of friends that are constantly nagging me, "you're getting to skinny" or "you don't need to lose anymore"...I'm definitely not too skinny - size 6-8. This is the first time I've ever watched my weight and it's taken my boyfriend some time to get used to it (we live together). He's used to 4 am pizzas and McDonald breakfasts - and I wonder why I put on weight, I ate like a boy for three years. At first, I really wanted people to notice (I mean that's a modivator in itself), but now I feel uncomfortable. I run into friends from freshman year at the bars and it's always the same - "wow." I mean don't get me wrong, this is the best and my selfesteem is through the roof. It's funny because sometimes I hope I don't think that I look better than I really do...lol. For example, I'll be looking at really tight jeans and wonder can I really where this? I still try on two sizes bigger than I really wear when I go to stores.
I lost about 13 in the first month and I'm sure some of it was water weight too, but I still felt amazing. It's like if I eat more carbs than I should - I feel gross and bloated. This way of eating makes me feel so good about myself - you know? So, if you feel better, that's all that matters, but the 10 lbs. is amazing.
Are you finishing up NW this year? What your major?
After I hit my goal, the first thing I'm doing is buying a pair of Paper Jeans, or Seven Jeans. Before, there was no way I was spendig that much money of fat jeans and I can't buy them now b/c they won't fit later...so I just have to wait...

Gilta, you lost 3/4 of an inch! That is not UP! Inches lost and scale weight lost cannot happen at the same time - and IMHO inches lost are way more important. If your weight goes UP and your size goes down it is an indication of fat loss and muscle growth - something to be desired. Don't let the scales lie to you.

First official weigh in...and had a good start (mind you the flu helped).

Week ending Feb 08...is 152 [was 155], so a 3 pound loss! :thup:

Now I don't expect these results again...unless I get sick :p

Anyway I'm a happy litte person this morning..definately pumped!

Hopefully next week I can achieve my 2.5 loss.

Hope to see more awesome results from folks today....let's keep up the motivation.

p.s. sorry for those of you with that TOM...I hear ya and my time will be coming around too. So no matter your doing great as long as your treating your body right. You go girls! [guys included] ;)

Well I didnt make it to my goal. I only lost 1 lb this week and that was on Saturday. I have been doing so well.. Cut out protein shakes, bars, drinking just water... and nothing.. arrgghhh

After weighing myself, and being pretty upset I took my measurments. They have changed. Thank god..!!

I lost about 1/4 inch on my bicept

1 inch on my chest... and boobs (I hope they dont shrink to much more LOL)

1/2 inch on my waist
1 inch on my knee
1 inch on my calf
1/2 inch on the top of my leg...
and gained an inch on the top mid of my leg.

I know I measure alot of parts but I like to have a good idea of what is shrinking. I also have a pair of jean shorts that I wore just after my son was born and I can now do them up and actually sit down in them. I wouldn't wear them out in public but they are a good referance since I dont wear tight cloths..

So I guess the lesson learnt here is that you can still loose inches without loosing lbs.. even though it is NOT fair :daze:

tlcdoula, All those inches are wonderful! 4 inches in all, that is not nothing, that is everything! (But no it's not fair!) ;) That is great about your shorts. I did the same with a skirt this morning. :D

Erin, You will get below 140 in no time with your great attitude! Have you done your measurements?

Those are the only parts I measure..... thats where I really want to see a difference (don't really need verification that my not so big bustline is getting smaller :p )

Have been tweaking my menu for about a week and half... and I guess its finally paying off!!! Still have some work to do on it but I think I'm headed in the right direction now!!

Just don't expect to have such results from me next week!! :rolleyes:

Don't stress over that little gain! Sometimes my weight goes up just before I drop weight. Maybe its water weight due to come off...I don't know... but it happens to me. You'll get some action this coming week!!

Weeeeeeeeee!!

Weighed myself today at the gym and am at 169!! I am shocked and chagrined. Especially as my TOM came today.....I think I am spazzing imagining what I will weigh when the evil Tom leaves......I tried on my vintage Levi jeans that I used to wear in high school and early college (pre-boyfriend) .....and they fit!! I also appear to have lost .75 inches on my waist and 1 inch on my hips. Didn't measure my thighs, but must have shrunk (as they fit into the pants).

I am so happy right now, and happy for us all!!!!!! We are all the sh*t. :cheer:

And Erin, let me tell you, don't worry about the itty bitty gain. Ellie is right about the possible whoosh coming for you. I was up to 174 three days ago mysteriously and then yesterday I felt all tingly and shaky and now I am smaller!

Hi gals!

Oh no, not so good, it was my birthday on Feb 13th and I weighed 147 that morning. My students took me to the deli :bash: for dinner, and we had smoked meat, french fries :devil: , pickle, sweet coleslaw, and a cherry coke (!) :o.

Am up .5 lbs and who knows how much more damage will be there tomorrow morning.

BTW, the dinner wasn't that good. I can't believe I used to eat like that automatically, without thinking all the time, and as I looked around the table at these young twenty year olds, I realised I just can't eat like that anymore. And until January, that's exactly what I was doing. So I learned something, but not happy about this. It's discouraging to say the least. Had carb cravings the following day, but not quite as bad as I expected.

Hope next week is better. Congratulations to all of you guys. You're doing great.

So at the beginning of this week, things were not lookin' so good. I have Tom visiting and the scales just jumped...today I weighed 139. However, I was out drinking last night so I'm definitely dehydtrated...I think I really weighed 140ish. I don't want you guys to think that I an alcoholic or anything...I'm just a college student...lol. No, but really, we always go out on Thursdays (and that's it)...no classes on Friday.

Erin: I know what you mean about the drinking....I am a college student too, and I drink about once a week. It's weird though, I'm starting to lose my taste for drinking. I'm not sure if it's this diet, or if its that i'm getting too old for this kid stuff (i'm a senior)......

Ruby: I feel ya. I think I may be cheating tonight at Olive garden (my first real cheat). It's my roommates birthday and her mom is taking us out. We'll see how that goes! I go to University of Oregon (in Eugene). It's a pretty big party school....and I live in the thick of the campus neighborhood, where there is always huge house parties. It's funny, I partied and drank really hard for the three years before my 21st birthday (I had several fake IDs, all of which were really bad! :nono: ) but after my 21st, I really lost interest in the party/bar scene. I still go out, cause it seems like that's all there is to do around here, but I really don't have fun anymore. I'm just itching to graduate....me and my boyfriend are moving to Boston in the fall :yay: I'm really a big city kinda girl.

What about you, where do you go to school? What's the scene like over there? Sorry, is that in Indiana? (I can't remember)

Alright everyone, after I came up with the idea for this challenge, it was like I immediately started to gain weight...I found out why. I just went off the pill and in the previous three month, I never had weight gain during (or pre) TOM. Well, that's what happened over the past two weeks.
I can't weight to weighin on Friday with some progress on my goal. I'm going to continue my Spring Break Challenge until I hit my goal...I don't care how long it takes:)

Gracie-poo: Yah, I'm in Indiana. I go to Indiana University. Gosh the scene here...it has changed sooo much. When I first got here as a freshman, it was frat party after frat party, but the school has kicked off so many frat due to alcohol related fighting and alcohol related deaths. We don't really have a lot of house parties..it's the bar scene that's out of control.
I experienced the exact same thing...I always had a fake and went out like crazy (mainly freshman year, not so much sophmore and junior b/c that's when my weight really started to bother me), but after I turned 21 (and had a horrible hangover for 2 day) I couldn't even think about alcohol. I went to London for the summer, so that's when I really started up again. I have to admit though, now that I'm more comfortable with my weight I want to go out soo much more. That's so sick, but I had nights where I would take hours to find soemthing to wear and end up in tears. My bf and I started a dating at the beginning of our freshmen year and we are planning on moving to Memphis this June. I hear you when you say you need a big city, I'm from Phila, and Bloomington has basically been the most boring place (besides the friends and bf). My bf got an awesome job in Memphis and couldn't turn it up so...that's gonna have to be my big city for now. We're going there for Spring Break to find a place and look for jobs for me 9I have never been there). I don't know if you've been to Boston, but it's amazing. I almost went to BU (I have tons of Friends there), but I got a scholarship to IU so I went to IU. Anyway, I love Boston soooooo much. I've always thought that I would live there, but now I think it will be Memphis and Conn. The only thing I hate about Boston is the WEATHER...ouch.

I cheated very badly on my birthday (see previous post) and immediately went up 2 lbs! It's taken me 6 days to get back to where I was. There you go. That's the price I paid. But today, I'm back where I started. That's good. Not about to do that again any time soon.

Lucky and happy to report that at least my weight remains the same.

Measures..... lost 1/4 inch off each thigh!! :D (that's got to be the workouts!!)

Gilta: We all know you can do it. Don't give up. Have you tried adding exercise to your LC'ing. I did and it really jumped started the weight and inches coming off.

I through in a bike ride last night and this morning to the gym and did Richard Simmons last night. I guess the exercise pushed me right out of that difficult 184 plateau. Couldn't be more pleased. Gave me more discipline to continue the exercising.

Gilta: Aim is right on about the exercise. It's what is making me lose so consistantly, I think. Also, just a suggestion :) but are you keeping your carbs REALLY low? I don't know about everyone else, but I started losing weight more consistantly when I added a few more carbs, especially veggie carbs, keeping them at like 30 or so. Maybe it's just me though :D

I finally have had some movement in the weight department... I hit 178 a couple of days ago and was still there this morning.. :)

I have been going to the gym 5 days a week... and I also upped my water intake to 6 litres for amost a week. I also cut out veggies and most carbs for the week. Tommorrow I am back on veggies.. I am going to have a huge cesear salad... :P

I never did my measurements so can't compare, but kudos to those loosing those inches! Went and bought some new tops today...felt so good looking a few pounds slimmer. Hubby says he's proud of me :o

Hello to all!

I missed Friday's weigh - in. On Friday morning, I realized the
scale ( the devil) needed a new battery. I replaced the battery
only to find out it was not "zeroing" out properly. My DH loves the numbers he is seeing, for him the scale was 8 lbs lighter than he expected. That is when I knew it was not accurate! :D I will try to fix it today! Take care..... with each step....we get closer!

Okay frustration has kicked in big time!!!! I finally fixed the scale,
and lo and behold - I'm up a pound!!!
I went on to fitday.com and from what I can see..... I have been
eating too many calories! ARRRRRRRGH!!!!

I will complete this countdown - and yes, I will fine tune my eating program, however, I want to see some results!!! Clearly if this is not working - then it is time to move on. I started induction on 2/04/02 - so it has been 3 full weeks and still nothing! :bash: Sorry, if I said too much - I'm in a pretty foul mood!

Hi guys, I'm going to post my weight early, cuz I'm leaving early tomorrow to go out of town for the weekend...I weighed myself today, and have only lost 1 pound!!!! :tears: OK, I am a brat, one pound is pretty cool, but I am always looking for immediate gratification. I think I may try to shock my body by going back to induction for a few days. Not the whole two weeks though! I read somewhere else on the forum (either Karen or Doreen said it, I think) that sometimes shocking your body occasionally will let go of more weight.

I have a question: I've done several body fat measurement tests on myself, the type that make you measure your wrist, hips, waist, etc etc, and apparently my lean body mass is 125 pounds, which would make my ideal weight (19-20% fat) at about 155, or 150 at the lowest. I'm now at 165, and I DO NOT look like I only have ten pounds to lose!! :confused: I have tons of flab -- and tons of tight muscles too, but since they can't be seen, it makes me all the more frustrated. Do you think that the tests are wrong? Or will a measly ten pounds make a huge difference??

Ok, enough selfish prattling from me! I'm sending my hopeful thoughts towards the rest of us Spring Breakers. I'm going to try to get that little trollop the Whoosh fairy to come visit you in your beds tonight!! Good luck! :cheer:

How have you been finding your LBM? There's this link that can give you a quick, est. : CKD (http://www.users.voicenet.com/~petrizzi/fitness/ckdcalc.html)

Just scroll down and enter your weight, waist, height, and sex. Scroll down to the end and click the "okay-type" box and a new window will appear info including your LBM. For me, it says 109 and I'm an 1.5" taller than you - but who knows.

Here's also this way Nat told me - I have to search for the link, and then edit this post...It said I was 107.3 LBM, which I think is more accurate. I'll edit this later, after I find it. Well, I can't find it...you have to measure your wrist, and everywhere...I think Nat made it a sticky, but I don't know. Try CKD first.

Another thing, since we're both young - we can actually be 17% BF. I thought it was 19% too, but I was corrected. Anyway, 18% to 17% is only couple lbs anyway.

Here's what Nat said:The range changes as you age. Medical professionals have determined that a healthy range of body fat is 14%-20% for men under 30 years of age, and 17%-24% for women under 30 years. For women over 30 body fat % range is 20%-27% and for men over 30 it is 17% - 23%.

Hope that clears somethings up.

Well I am only down .5 of a lb... it is better than nothing but not what I was hoping for. I did lose 1/2 inch on my belly, and 1 inch on my rib cage... so I guess something has happened.


After weighin on Friday Feb. 1st: 181
Week 1 Ends the morning of Feb 8th - 180
Week 2 Ends the morning of Feb 15 - 181.5 new scale = to 180.5
Week 3 Ends the morning of Feb 22 - 178
Week 4 Ends the morning of March 1 - 177.5
Week 5 Ends the morning of March 8 -

I gained 3 lbs. this week, and then worked 'em off w/ strict Atkins...but I had forgot that this was the weight that I was last week:(

After weighin on Friday Feb. 1st: 140
Week 1 Ends the morning of Feb 8th - 141.5 (Pre-tom)
Week 2 Ends the morning of Feb 15 - 140ish (durante TOM)
Week 3 Ends the morning of Feb 22 - 139.5
Week 4 Ends the morning of March 1 - 139.5
Week 5 Ends the morning of March 8 - Goal was 127...but now it's 137.

I'm going to keep on going w/ these friday weight ins if anyone would like to join me until say....Aprilish. My bdya is the 9th and I would love to see some sort of progress by then.

1st before I forget- Erin, I'm game my b-day is 4/16 & I too would like to set a new goal after this countdown is over. Keep me updated if there's another countdown after this one or if this one stays ongoing.

I had every intention of exercising my butt off this week but my house was in desperate need of some TLC (tender loving CLEANING) and my sleep has been restless- therefore pretty tired by 4p.m. Anywho, I'll try and bone up on my exercise routine this weekend.

:roll: ...Guess I'm on a roll this week. I was estatic to see 3 pounds gone, and I feel wonderful! So now I'm at 146...went to my OBGYN this morning for my yearly pap and liked his scale much better [read 145] :p
Anyway that's my details for the week...very motivated for next week now that's for sure. Think I'm going to buy myself a treat this week.
Glad to hear everyones losses...even a little loss is progress no matter what.

Well, I lost another pound and just changed my profile from 122 to 121 :cheer:

I only have 11 more to go until my bikini and my VACATION TO ST.LUCIA :exclm:

I want to go run on my treadmill until the whole 11 pounds are gone but I guess I would probably fall over and die, so I guess I'll just take it one day at a time.

I'm really getting anxious now to see my new profile so I'll talk to everyone later. I have to go and post this on a few of my other subscribed threads, hopefully to encourage or to motivate someone if they need it ;) Good Luck to all and guess what...

So what if you have a bad day with eating wrong or not exercising, I have had a few last week but I still LOST a pound. Just start fresh the next day, trust me when I say that when you don't beat yourself up it makes it easier to make it up :thup:

I believe in EVERYONE here, and I know with all of the support going on here WE CAN DO IT :D :wave:

Hi Gang!!

I missed friday.... my computer's been down!!

I know I'm bragging.... but I'm just in disbelief myself!! I'm doing great!!

Week 1....lost 2 lbs.....1 3/4 inches (off waist, hips, thighs)

Week 2....lost 2 lbs......1/4 inch (off waist)

Week 3....lost 0 pounds....1/2 inch (1/4 off each thigh)

Week 4 ....lost 2 pounds.....1 1/4 inches (off waist, hips, thighs)

And I joined just to get a little motivation.... didn't really expect to get anywhere!

NOW the BIG news!! Had my first visit ever from the Whoosh Fairy!!! Woke up this past monday with 4 more pounds off!!!
Don't know how it happened or why.... it just did!! It has stayed off for 3 days so far so...... anyway, that makes me just 3 pounds from my goal!! :thup:

CONGRATS TO ALL that are seeing some progress!!
And CONGRATS to everyone with the more stubborn pounds!!! You are working at it... and that's what matters! And eventually even those stubborn pounds get moving!!

I'm still stunned and feeling disbelief!! My scale is showing another pound down now.....the whoosh stayed off all week....but I'm going to weigh on a drug store scale (first chance!) as it just seems so incredible!! My clothes are fitting loser too!

Week 5..... weighing in at 134.... ( but always give it a few days to see if its really staying off)

So Possibly 1 pound lost this week.

Measures are the same.


At the end of this month I'm getting together with a bunch of the girls for dinner.... we haven't done this for 2 months now (its usually a monthly thing) so they haven't seen me in that long.
I would imagine I'll be getting lots of pats on the back at this get together.... and probably recruit some LCers!!!

I'll stop back and see how everyone did!

I was getting awfully discouraged but this last week seems to have done it - im out of the 150 rut! Too bad the countdown is over - but Im up for continuing with anyone else who's interested.

my stats are:

So I lost 4 pounds in 6 weeks instead of 12, oh well! Maybe the next six will go better.

I know it's only a pound but I'm soooo happy I broke thru to the 170's. Can't wait for the 160 breakthrough. Anywho, I'm sure if I got motivated in the exercise realm I'd be doing much better. So I'm going to try really hard to kick in my daily bike ride/ gym/ Richard Simmons routine for next week. I'm going snowboarding Monday with some friends from out of town that should shave some pounds off (my butt atleast).
