Are there specific foods I should eat or avoid eating to get the most accurate result for my thyroid test on Weds.? I don't want to eat anything that could give me false levels in either direction.

Thanks,
k

Aww...shoot. PA has jury duty, so my test is being postponed until Mon. AM. I really want some answers ASAP. The sooner I am tested, the sooner I can get myself "normal" or at least try to figure out the solution to a lot of nagging problems....

There's a bunch of veggies like broccoli, soy, turnip that are goitrogenic, they might cause your levels to change. But I've heard that cooking them disarms the goitrogens.

I have read that, too. I'm sort of avoiding things like that until I know what's up. Funny, though, years of LCing and eating a ton of broccoli have me kinda burned out on that, anyhow.
