If you are constipated - take magnesium.
Regarding the Diarrhea - most likely a virus.

Have you added anything new to your diet over the last few days; veggies with a high fiber count ie. spinach, broccoli? Have you been ingesting more fat than usual; for some people, high fat goes right through them. I would suggest you ride it out and if the diarrhea persists, make some alterations to your diet or seek medical attention if a virus is suspected. If the diarrhea is bothersome, you could try Imodium, but then you'll be back to a constipated state. Be sure to get lots of water; you don't want to get dehydrated.
Hope this helps.

LC-ing always gives me diarrhea. I take fiber tablets. Now, before you call me crazy--fiber works by providing BULK. Bulk makes you 'go' if you can't go, -----AND bulks the stool so that it has substance and is no longer watery, stopping diarrhea. It can work both ways. Works for me.
A lot of doctors prescribe Metamucil or Citrucel for chronic diarrhea, since it bulks the stool. Since these have some carbs, the caplets (pills) might help.

I'd suggest it is something you're eating or some supplement you're taking. Are you eating any low-carb products like bread, bars, that sort of thing? Is there anything you didn't eat before you started the diet?
