I love the SB Diet. I really do, but I just can't seem to stay on it or any diet where I have to make so many choices. I need something more stuctured. I admit it. I am an undisciplined slob. So I am going to go on a high protein, low carb liquid diet. I know its the easy way out (or at least I hope so) but it beats lapband surgery which is the alternative. I just keep gaining and gaining and gaining and can't seem to stop. I could blame it on stress (including my vacation which would have been better if I had not tried to do with with my sons and their families) and other things, but the fact is I just can't eat regular food right now and lose weight. I have a problem with portion control also. Anyway I wish you all the best with South Beach. It works for those who will work at it. You are an incredible group and I'll miss being on this section of the board. Bye for now. ---Fluffy

Good luck fluffy!!

Portion control is a biggy!! If you cannot get a handle on portions, I wish you good luck!!

Is what you are drinking vegetarian?

It is mostly whey & dehydrated eggs, which is vegetarian but not vegan. I am just getting desperate to lose. I am back in a size 22 going on 24. :(

Fluffy!
Good luck with this, honey. I really feel for you... It's horrid to keep gaining like this and sometimes high protein is the only way to get a handle on it. Perhaps you'll come back to this after some weight loss and your head's in the right place for it.

Stay in touch!

Good luck with your new plan. I know from reading your journal that you've tried a number of different plans this year, so hope that you do find something that works for you :)
