Hiyas :) i was here a while back but kinda slipped away but stayed on eating plan. I guess i used it as a support for when i feel i need it...maybe thats why im back again...lol

anyways just wanted to say hiya! hope your all doing well. Ive done good over the summer - ive lost nearly 60 pounds and have to say i am feeling great! Im back at my final year at university and its tough going but i will get there. My big motivation is i graduate next Jul and id like to make sure this Grad pic is not a fat one...lol

Ive not broken my woe so far but have promised myself on xmas day that i will have some stuffing....lol and maybe a potato (im irish i miss my spuds so badly!!) but recently ive found myself going no actually i dont think i will break on xmas day. Ive also promised myself once i reach 17stone (238IIbs) I am going to start swimming again.

I hope to be checking in again from time to time and just thought id say hello im still sticking with it and I will get there :) even if its quietly at times :)

J. xx

You are doing fantastic! You are so right about the graduation picture--there will only be the ones taken then and you want to be proud of them, not hide them. You can do it! I know you can.

When I first started last fall (September), I started telling myself that if I lost so many pounds by a certain holiday I could have a certain holiday food(s) as a reward. As it turns out, I was so happy with my losses that when the time came, I didn't want the high carb foods. I decided I wanted the losses to continue more than I wanted the bad food. I made it through all the holiday meals without eating any of the foods not allowed at that stage of Atkins. It wasn't even hard and I didn't feel deprived at all.

Sunny!
