Greetings Everyone,
I have been wanting to do this for quite some time. I'm ready. Not sure what shifted, but I am looking forward to lightening up on all levels. Life is to short to continue down this road that just isn't working for me. I look forward to hearing what works for everyone and the issues that other's have encountered along the way.

Welcome! What has worked best for me is to 'eat clean' and get rid of as much processing and chemicals as possible. I eat high, good fats (including saturated), lots of different meats and good low carb veggies. I have learned to keep exploring my options with legal foods so it never becomes boring. This has worked so well for me. I now crave legal foods much like I used to crave the bad stuff. I now find myself craving salmon, fish in general, beef roast and eggs at more meals than breakfast. I even now crave dark meat poultry and I didn't even like it before starting Atkins! How cool is that?
Also, working on my mind-set has helped so much. Positive thoughts lead to positive results. This journey is as enjoyable as you make it.
Sunny!
