:wave: I just wanted to say hello to all and to say how thankful I am for those who have been dedicated to keeping these forums alive and going. I started my Atkins LC 7 days ago and this site has been a wealth of knowledge and support. I know that I am in the 400 Lb. range - No local scales that I can weigh in on. 7 Days and the tape measure says close to 5 inch's in the chest and 3/4 in the waist. Thank God..... :agree:

I am new to this forum but not to LC WOL as I have been at this for years. This place is an awesome wealth of knowledge and it keeps me going strong. I understand that getting weighed can be so hard when you are 400+ because when I was in the hospital years ago they put me in a regular wheel chair (didn't have the wide ones then) and took me down to the loading dock to be weighed (475lbs) and how humiliating that was! So, thankfully some things have changed and there are scales that go much higher today than they did many moons ago.
Here's wishing you great success in your weight loss and remember to be kind to yourself as I still make mistakes on my eating at times but never have lost sight of the goal..... :wave:

just keep on rocking........it'll keep coming down. I am in the same situation, but I was lucky and found a scale rated to 450 at kmart of all places. I also found a few scales at local stores rated to 500, the local gnc has one as does our acme. Keep plugging away.......it's all good!!!!!!! :wave:
