Hello Everyone.

I've been on the plan for 7.5 weeks and I've lost 40 pounds! It's not quite a success story, but hopefully it can motivate one or two people to stick with it. Heres how I did it.

I've been on Induction the entire time. I do not count carbs, but I konw that I have stayed under 20.

No cheats! It's really just a trap. There are better ways to break a stall than cheating. Every time I think of cheating, I think of all of the years I "cheated" and I think of all the health benefits I'd be cheating myself out of, and it isn't worth it.

I have started to hit the gym. This is MANDATORY for permanent weight loss. If I woud have just dieted, sure I would have lost weight, but my metabolism would have eventually slowed down too.

I've made it a goal to lose another 30 pounds by the end of the year. I've attched a picture of my progress so far.

Thanks for posting your pictures! You look great!
What kind of exercise are you doing? I have been doing aerobics, but I'm getting bored and I'm not so sure about weight training.

Thanks for all of the awesome comments everyone.

I just starting exercising a week ago. I wish I would have started when I started the diet.

As for excercise, it's all about the treadmill for me. I got in the YMCA before work at 5:30 and do 1.75 miles at a moderate walk. Around 7:00pm I go back for round two, 2.25 miles at a very brisk walk/jog.

I do not weight train. I am too fat and I think I need to lose more weight first. I do have a resistance band though. They are AWESOME. I would try that instead of weight training, and then ease into weigh training.
