Is pepperoni okay to eat in induction? I love pepperoni and string cheese... also love pepperoni, couple teaspoons pizza sauce (make my own, no sugar, trace of carbs) & motzerella cheese, nuke for about 45 seconds and eat!
I buy Hormel pepperoni, which says 0 carbs, 0 sugars.
I'm asking because I swore I read somewhere a couple years ago that pepperoni wasn't a good thing to eat on low carb induction.

I wouldn't. It, and most processed meats, contain all kinds of additives and filler. Some are even prepared with sugar and corn starch. In addition, they are high in sodium and will keep the water on you (often what gives you that wonderful induction whoosh). I can't even eat string cheese it stops me from losing.
My suggestion is to keep your foods as whole as possible.

Ive never had a problem with it. Its great to eat as a snack as long as its zero carbs.

i stay away from it on induction because of the nitrates. once i'm past the first 2 weeks, i'll buy them once in a while both for cooking purposes and for snacking on.

I just have them for a once in a while treat because of the salt.

I don't think it's affecting me in a negative way. As I said, I was down 2 more pounds the other day but didn't change my stats. I went up a pound the next day (I know, I shouldn't weigh every day, but I can't help it!). This morning, I'm down those 2 pounds, making 3 pounds total in 4 days (only going to count 2 in my stats).
Even if the 2 pounds are water, that would disprove water retention with the salt (for me anyways). I think I'll stick to the pepperoni and string cheese.

I posted on here just over a month ago or so asking about pepperoni. Pepperoni REALLY stalls you out and the high sodium count will also cause you to retain water.
I wouldnt eat too much if I were you!

Some people it affects, like me.... others can eat it and be fine. Just keep an eye on the scale. I wouldn't use them as a lunch or dinner meal... just a snack or treat every now & then.

I buy Hormel pepperoni, which says 0 carbs, 0 sugars.
Just bear in mind that those counts are for one serving - which might be only a couple of slices - and that they are allowd to state '0 carbs' if that amount contains less than one carb!
So several servingsworth might add up to quite a few carbs!

Thanks for the input; I'll pay closer attention and probably use them as a snack once in awhile.
Thanks again y'all!
